Boil water in a pot and bring it to full boil, add salt.
Take the pot off the heat and slowly add the maize, whisking all the while.
Cover and leave on low heat to cook for about 15 mins.
Begin by frying the meat (if it’s being used) in the oil till well done. Add some salt
Add onions and carrot, fry till tender.
Add tomatoes and stir until dry.
Add kale/spinach, garlic, oregano, pounded peanuts, salt, and pepper. Cook on low heat till the greens have released all their water.
Serve hot. Some hot sauce always goes well with it
