We had it each time we went saree shopping in Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. It brings back memories of saree shopping before my cousins’ weddings!

  • Dice the potatoes in cubes. Heat ghee in a frying pan. Shallow fry the potatoes on low heat till golden brown and crisp.

  • Transfer the fried potatoes to a bowl and sprinkle all the masalas, salts, and lemon juice on top and toss to mix.

  • Arrange them on a plate and drizzle with tamarind chutney, sliced onions, and dhania leaves.
