Ingredients
- Chickpeas: 1 cup (soaked overnight or 8 to 10 hours)
- Bay leaf: 1
- Parsley (optional): 2 sprigs
- Peeled garlic: 5-6 cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil (I used Bertolli which has a slightly strong taste that I like): 2-3 tbsp
- Roasted sesame seeds: 1 tbsp or 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil: 1 tbsp (optional)
- Dry red chilli (crushed): 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
