Kanupriya Mittal
After graduating from LSR, I studied Law and practised in the Supreme Court for a couple of years. Life was busy, running between courtrooms, briefing senior lawyers, and managing a new-born along with being a daughter-in-law in a joint family. From an active lawyer, I became a full-time mother and homemaker. I am passionate about soft soulful music, especially with meaningful lyrics. However, painting is my first love although I haven’t painted in a while. I am extremely fond of exquisite cutlery, crockery, and pretty linen. On holidays abroad, my eyes are on the lookout for something unique to carry back home as I love to entertain and socialise. Coming to my culinary skills, I did not know the A (in this case, the C!) of cooking till I got married. I give credit to my mother-in-law for teaching me the basics of cooking. In all these years I have somewhat evolved and can now make dishes from different cuisines and please my family. I do like to try out new recipes and believe in ‘Practice makes perfect’.
