A takeaway from the Gujarati dish handvo!

  • Combine the besan, rava, and idli batter with the curd, salt, and vegetables. Mix well.

  • Grease a kadai (wok) and heat it. Once it is warm, pour a ladleful of the batter in it. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  • Flip it and let it cook without the lid till it is browned. Sprinkle oil for even browning on each side.

  • Serve hot with some coconut or peanut chutney.
